Lately, I've been thinking that blindies need a website to go and get box and can instructions off of because I know many of us don't have sighted people that live near them to help them. I think this would also be good for when you maybe move somewhere that you don't know anyone. Do you think this is a good idea? I'm also thinking of letting you the users that is visually impaired help out or post things that people use in their everyday lives.
Sorry for this short description, but as you post here and maybe give me ideas I can give more of what I'm trying to do. That's if you don't understand it.

You can also scan them if you have a scanner, and if the box isn't too big.
I think another idea for a site would be one that has directory and description information about all the blindness rehab places, both NFB types and not.

Just listing places is a bit pointless...we need something we can really use. Even though there are scanners around doesn't mean everyone have one, so that's why I was thinking.
